Theatre has a valuable contribution in making our lives better!

It is a sophisticated expression of a basic human need - one might call it an instinct - to mimic, to project stories onto ourselves and others, and to create meaning through narrative and metaphor.

Theatre has a cultural novelty with a strong legacy which has withstood colonialism, advent of nationalism and technologically advanced media of entertainment.

“If someone watches a film and does not like it, he would go later and watch another one; but if he watches a play once and does not like it he might never visit a theatre again”. To a large extent, the focus of the theatre community is generating further interest in theatre as opposed to their own brand.
